…and on the 8th day, micro fiction was published on some dude's blog.

An Interesting Class

Joey stepped into the room, looked around, and scratched his head.

“So…what are all these bikes doing here?”

Everyone else in the room laughed, and at that moment, Joey realized that a “spin class” wasn’t a class where you just spun yourself around in circles for an hour.

And when he stopped to think about it, he didn’t know why he’d had that idea in the first place. It made no sense. But then, most exercise fads didn’t make any sense to him. He figured getting in shape by spinning yourself silly wasn’t any weirder than Zumba or Tae Bo or whatever.

He chose a bike and mounted it slowly, gripping the handlebars tightly. It was going to be an interesting class. Anticipating that he’d be getting himself super dizzy, Joey had taken a ton of Dramamine before leaving for the Y, and he could feel it starting to kick in.
