…and on the 8th day, micro fiction was published on some dude's blog.


Amanda tentatively approached Kyle.


Kyle looked up from his book. “Really? THAT’S your apology? After what you did, you’d think that maybe you’d at least try to sound like you meant it. That sounded like a question.” He went back to his book, pretending she wasn’t there as his face and ears started turning red.

“Sorry,” Amanda whispered as she lowered her head and left the room.

She didn’t realize she had done anything for which an apology was required.

And what she had said WAS a question; she was asking Kyle if he wanted to play the board game.

It was shaping up to be a confusing and frustrating evening, that was for sure.
