…and on the 8th day, micro fiction was published on some dude's blog.

Diana was actually looking forward to her high school reunion.

She never would have guessed back then that she’d be feeling this way. Her high school years had been torture, every minute of them. Until recently, graduation day had been the best day of her life simply because it meant she’d never have to set foot inside that school building again.

But against all odds, now Diana couldn’t wait to walk back through the doors of her alma mater. Things were different now. She was no longer Diana, A.V. Club nerd and mousy President of the Future Secretaries of America.

She was Di Hammersmith, founder and CEO of Kitty Spritz, handmade designer perfumes and colognes for cats. She was worth a fortune; she could buy and sell all of her former classmates several times over, like THAT.

And as far as she was concerned, every single member of Pike Valley High School’s Class of 1992 could SUCK IT and she was ready and willing to say as much to ANYONE who dared show up next Saturday night at the school’s musty gymnasium. To their FACE.
